The League
The League is intentionally developed as a set of colleges and universities with different histories, traditions, missions, and perspectives. Each is dedicated to academic excellence and to the League’s mission.

The Mission
In service of this goal, the League brings together cohorts of Reconciliation Fellows from the League schools for several weeks to experience an innovative, rigorous curriculum designed to foster in them an ability to reckon with competing familiar and unfamiliar ideas and to engage in a genuinely dialogic conversation about them.
These students — drawn as they will be from the generation inheriting the challenge of healing the polarizations plaguing society — will emerge from the experience with both the skills necessary to facilitate this healing and the intellectual humility, curiosity, passion and dexterity to become disciples of debate and dialogue.
Having completed this training, the Fellows may be welcomed into a Reconciliation Corps, connected over time in their efforts to foster productive discourse in the institutions and communities they inhabit and, in many cases, lead.
The Fellowship Program
